Dr. Neeraj “Nick” Satyal

Dr. Neeraj Satyal

Nick Satyal, Ed.D. is a National Board-Certified Math Teacher. Having 20 years of experience in TK-12 Public Education as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator – he started the Math Yogis to help support schools, administrators and teachers help their kids learn math faster. A native of Anchorage, Alaska, he has lived in Los Angeles for his most of his career. An avid Dodger fan, his wife Sree, and two kids Jackie and Cassie live in South Los Angeles.

Dr. Michael Farber has over 25 years of experience in education beginning as preschool teacher's aide, Kindergarten teacher, to HS teacher, Math Coach, to Math Director, and now Assistant Principal. He has spent the past 17 years in Los Angeles as a HS math teacher, coach, director, and AP. He now serves as the ICEF Math Director and Assistant Principal at Burbank High School.

Manoj N. Shah is Managing Partner of Brand Counsel, P.C. with nearly 20 years of experience advising clients across multiple industries. He has negotiated complex licensing agreements, managed intellectual property portfolios internationally, advised on corporate transactions including fundraising and equity allocation, and successfully mediated a variety of employment, business, and intellectual property disputes. Licensed in California, Manoj is recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star. He is passionate about strategic negotiations and business development.

Sree Roy is an award-winning health journalist who focuses on sleep medicine, neurology, and pulmonology. She enjoys translating complex topics into easy-to-understand articles, podcasts, webinars, and other media for both professionals and patients. She graduated from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism. Sree is a mom of two girls who attend Los Angeles Unified School District public schools. Her hobbies include reading science fiction and walking the family dog.

Neel graduated from Indiana University receiving a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He has worked as an audit associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a real estate accountant with Colony Capital. Prior to starting Knights Accounting, Neel had experience as an entrepreneur with starting his own hospitality tour based company in Los Angeles. Neel Sodha is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California (No. 102833)

Andy has over twenty years of experience teaching public secondary school in California and Colorado. His career in education started in LAUSD where he taught middle school math and science for two years, and high school math and science for four years. He earned his BA in Economics and Business Management from Occidental College, MA in Education from CSUN, and MS in Geosciences from MSU. He is currently a National Board Certified Teacher in science working at New Vista High School in Boulder, Colorado.
